Another Energy Crisis

Filed under: Uncategorized — Novak @ 3:54 pm

In 2010, the energy drink business in the United States will have grown to become a $10 billion annual industry.  It has seen massive growth in the past five years, and shows no sign of slowing down.  In a country where more people or overweight or obese than are healthy, is this such a good thing?

Everyone knows energy drinks are terrible for you, but this is a fast paced world.  We all need a little pick me up here and there.  I mean come on.  Who doesn’t chug down the Monsters and Red Bulls or, in the very least, start their day off with a cup of coffee, packed with sugar and crème.  It just isn’t realistic to think that people ought to refrain from using some kind of energy supplement.  Problem is they all just happen to be terrible for you.

Or are they?

Set to be released at the end of this month, is XYNG.  The energy pill without the caffeine or calories of energy drinks and coffee is said to provide a natural euphoria and removes the high – crash cycle of most energy supplements.

I thought it sounded fishy.  Naturally I acquired a sample, or two, to find out.

Curious?  Want to know if any of this is true? Make sure you check in next week.

  1. If it doesnt use caffeine to give you energy, what does it give you?

  2. I’m wondering if it’s synthetic.

  3. I’m wondering the same, mokjay. A lot of energy products claim they won’t give you a crash. The problem is not only are energy drinks bad for you, a lot of people drink them when they don’t need energy at all…
