Toyota Recall, Are they Going to Ruin?

Filed under: Uncategorized — Keynes @ 10:24 am

Toyota, the world largest automaker has been in trouble of recall since the last month. Toyota is already recalling more than 8 million vehicles on five continents from Camry sedan to the Prius hybrid for brakes and accelerator pedals. Also, they added another model on the recall list. The world’s largest carmaker has lost more than $31 billion in market value since January.

Some people may argue that this situation Toyota faced with would be great opportunity for its competitor to catch up with them. Because the market share of the company in automobile industry has been declining, the insistences are reasonable. However, many people seem to overlook the fact that Toyota has accumulated its reputation as the most safety and energy efficient car maker for more than 40 years in the United Stated the world biggest selling market of car. Moreover, right after the announcement of recall, they completely stopped to product and focused on repairing the cars. From those trustful acts, in spite of the recall, consumers are still considering Toyota first.

We cannot simply conclude the aftermath about the Toyota. However, that could make smaller effect on the automobile industry comparing with the opinion from experts.

  1. Right now, the company is in bigger trouble then they were before because words spread. People fear of what happened to others and they just simply dislike, or fear, with the crowd. Of course, this is a great opportunity for the other country’s automobile companies to catch up with Toyota’s sale, but who knows what will happen to Toyota. They did have a great history, just until now. Some people still trust them.

  2. At Toyota, we have been making quality, safe cars for over half a century in the United States. Believe me, Toyota and the American people will make it through this recall together and come out stronger on the other side. Plus, our robots play the trumpet. Beat that GM!

  3. Toyota has at least 2 trumpet playing robots. This puts them well above the competition.
