Spring Break is Coming! Road Trip to New Orleans

Filed under: Uncategorized — Keynes @ 7:08 am

The spring break is just around the corner. Because I have grown up in a different culture which has no spring break, it would be the first in the United States. I honestly have been waiting for this break for two reasons. First of all, going to road trip with my friends across the interstates have been my dream since I decided to come here. The break would be perfect opportunity to take the road trip since. Moreover, I am currently taking 18 credit hours including our interesting Rhetoric class this semester. It is spontaneous to be tired at a certain moment such as mid-terms. Thus, the long-awaited spring break would be like an oasis for me to recover the energy to focus on my study again. I and my friends decided to go to New Orleans!

When I was young, I have heard New Orleans is famous for the hometown of Jazz and French culture in the United States.

Not only because for the facts, but for another two reasons, I strongly told my friends to visit there. Firstly, as all of you know, the city had damaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. I was truly sad and felt sympathy for many victims by flood at that time. Also, I have wanted to learn a living lesson from the natural and after man-made disaster at firsthand. In addition, there is New Orleans Saints who got the Super Bowl in 2010. Watching super bowl in Feb 7, I was extremely happy for their winning. They just deserve it! Therefore I want to share the indescribable joy with the people who live in the city.

After I come back, I will be sharing this exciting road trip.
